Role: Group Accounts Assistant

VisionFR is pleased to be working with a market research agency with international reach and a focus on the pharmaceutical sector to find a Group Accounts Assistant. This role will support transactional finance operations (accounts payable/accounts receivable) across the group and an opportunity to support month-end.
The key responsibilities of the Group Accounts Assistant
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding, approval and VAT
- Prepare and process payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Maintain accurate AP ledgers
- Raise and issue sales invoices
- Monitor and chase outstanding debts
- Allocate incoming payments
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Support credit control
- Process employee expenses
- Month-end reconciliation and close activities
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations across UK, US and Europe
- Maintain accurate records and filing in line with group policies
- Assist with ad hoc finance administration and projects as needed

Skills and responsibilities of the Group Accounts Assistant
- Experience in a similar Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable role in a creative sector
- Comfortable working with varying volumes of transactions and meeting deadlines
- Good Excel knowledge
- Experience using Xero would be an advantage
- Comfortable working with a multi-currency and multi-entity environment
- AAT part-qualified or similar is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues across different countries and time zones
