Responsible for procurement of IT services for the organisation. The role requires an understanding of the industry and supply chain, as well as strong negotiation and supplier management skills. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and support their needs fully to ensure appropriate procurement exercises and due diligence is undertaken to implement suitable supply chain. Key responsibilities include sourcing and supplier relationship management.
What you'll be doing
Manage end to end sourcing activities via our E Procurement system in line with category strategy and stakeholder requirements. Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders in order to drive the category plan and ensure suitable involvement and support from Procurement in all sourcing activities undertaken across the business. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers in accordance with Group procedures and collaboration with stakeholders. Implement robust Supplier Relationship Management processes, with robust metrics and governance to ensure continuous improvement is driven. This includes running performance improvement plans with suppliers were required. Ensure that supply chain complies with all legal and regulatory requirements and that their services meet appropriate standards for quality and performance. Develop, implement, communicate, and monitor a comprehensive preferred supplier network feeding into the overall category plan and ensuring to drive compliance across the Strategic Business Units. Deliver clear communications and proactive updates of relevant activities to all necessary stakeholders. Collaborate with the Procurement Sustainability team to develop initiatives and drive our sustainability agenda. Ability to raise purchase order requests Maintaining key records in a clear concise manner via sharepoint and systems such as SNOW

Who we're looking for
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred. CIPS qualified, studying towards or equivalent studies. 3+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management for professional services and/or IT. Experience within procurement and category management, in particular running end to end tenders and sourcing activities. Experience reviewing and negotiating legal agreements including Terms and Conditions. Strong knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and regulations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders and apply supplier relationship management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software tools. Strong facilitation skills, to be able to steer discussions towards decisions needed. Strong time management skills and ability to set deadlines and meet them accordingly.
