Shape Category Strategy. Drive Commercial Value. Deliver Better Outcomes.
We're looking for an experienced Category Management professional to join our Group Commercial team as a Group Category Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already built a successful career in category management and strategic sourcing, looking for a role where you can truly influence procurement outcomes across a complex Group model.
You'll take ownership of end-to-end category management, developing and delivering category strategies that create commercial value, strengthen supplier performance and support long-term business goals. Working with stakeholders across the Group, you'll use market insight, supplier expertise and commercial acumen to drive better decisions, optimise costs and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
Working as part of a small, growing team, you'll relish the opportunity to be part of a dynamic commercial function, reporting to our Procurement and Risk Supplier Manager.
If you're passionate about category management, enjoy building strategic supplier partnerships and want to play a key role in the continued development of a growing procurement function, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: If you have already applied for this role, there is no need to submit another application.
About You
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who already have experience leading category management activities and developing category strategies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
