Group CFO | London | Entrepreneurial Family Office
Every so often a role comes along that's genuinely different. This is one of them.
This isn't simply about filling a vacancy. It's about finding the right person for a unique opportunity.
This is a London-based Group CFO role within an entrepreneurial Family Office with a diverse portfolio of businesses across the UK, USA, and Africa. It's an opportunity to help shape, grow, and strengthen businesses, not simply oversee the finance function.
Whilst the role is highly commercial, it's equally important that you enjoy the fundamentals of finance. Financial reporting, income statements, balance sheets, P&L, cashflow, and building a high-performing finance team are central to the role. The successful individual will be just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail as they are contributing at Board level, partnering with business leaders, challenging thinking, and helping drive long-term growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
