Group Credit Controller
Group Credit Controller – International Consumer Products Business
An exciting opportunity with continued growth
An international consumer products business operating across multiple markets, brands, and customer channels is investing in its finance function. We are seeking a Group Credit Controller to support cash flow optimisation, risk minimisation, and best-practice Accounts Receivable operations.
This is a strategic commercial role where Credit Control is regarded as critical to business success. You will collaborate with finance and operational teams across multiple entities, gaining exposure to:
- International customers
- Multi-currency ledgers
- Large-scale Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Your new role
Reporting into the Group Credit team, you will take ownership of:
- Customer collections and accounts reconciliation
- Day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities across a diverse customer portfolio
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively collect outstanding debt while managing customer relationships
- Investigate and resolve invoice disputes, deductions, and short payments
- Handle cash allocation and payment applications across multiple accounts
- Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain accurate ledgers
- Monitor customer accounts and escalate high-risk issues where required
- Support DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), aged debt and cash collection reporting
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams to:
- Drive timely payments
- Resolve operational issues
- Contribute to continuous process improvements in credit control and efficiency
- Engage with customer portals and international trading environments
