s Role Purpo seWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Data Lead to take ownership of all data-related activities within our enterprise-wide Infor ERP implementation programme – Leapfro g.This is a pivotal role bridging business and technical domains, ensuring data across all UK sites is clean, harmonised, and implementation-ready to meet key project milestones through 2026 and beyon d.Beyond ERP go-live, you will define and establish the foundation for group-wide master data management and data governance — transitioning the organisation from a decentralised, inconsistent data landscape to a centrally managed, structured, and scalable data environmen t.This role will shape the future of our data-driven operating model and reporting capabilit

- Data Readiness & Clean singLead and complete data cleansing and harmonisation across all sites and business un its.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and migration readiness in line with ERP construction and transition pha ses.Oversee data filtering, simplification, and validation activities aligned to delivery timeli nes.2. Data Mapping & Migration Coordina tionFacilitate mapping of legacy data structures to the Infor ERP data model, ensuring full business alignm ent.Act as the bridge between business users, stream leads, and technical teams to ensure seamless data translat ion.Coordinate data conversion and migration cycles across key pha ses:System Tes tingEnd-User Tes tingFinal Migration & Go- LiveWork with technical experts to ensure ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools are developed and embedded to industrialise data transf ers.3. Master Data & Governance Foundat ionsDefine and implement the blueprint for Group Master Data and Data Governa nce.Establish consistent data definitions, hierarchies, ownership models, and quality controls across key business domains (commercial, engineering, programmes, manufacturing, et c.).Leverage ERP platform capabilities to embed scalable governance practi ces.4. Business–Technical Coordina tionServe as the functional data lead within the ERP project struct ure.Collaborate with technical data teams, project leadership, stream leads, and business data own ers.Ensure full alignment of data activities with overall transformation milesto nes.Translate business requirements into structured governance frameworks and actionable data standa rds.5. Reporting Continuity & Future Readi nessEnsure reporting continuity post go-live through consistent and structured data des ign.Enable operational, site, and group-level reporting consiste ncy.Lay the groundwork for future analytics and business intelligence capabil ity.Promote simplified, standardised data structures to improve visibility and decision-mak ing.6. Ongoing Group Data Leadership (Post-Implementat ion)Following ERP go-live, this position will evolve into a permanent Group Data Lead / Data Officer role responsible for:Cross-system data harmonisation across ERP, Industry 4.0, IoT, and digital manufacturing syst ems.Establishing sustainable data governance and stewardship framewo rks.Maintaining a single source of truth across the organisat ion.Driving simplification, optimisation, and continuous improvement of group-level report

Skills & Exper ienceEsse ntialProven experience in data leadership, data governance, or enterprise data management r oles.Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, cleansing, migration, and integration within ERP environments (Infor experience advantage ous).Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technical t eams.Excellent stakeholder engagement, coordination, and influencing sk ills.Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadl ines.Fluent professional English (written and ver bal).Desi rableExperience supporting Infor ERP or other large-scale ERP transformat ions.Experience building group-level data ownership and governance framew orks.Familiarity with complex multi-site manufacturing or engineering environm
