Company Description

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a brilliant Group Design Lead to join our Global KYC Onboarding squad in London! You'll be part of Wise's global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Because people without borders need money without borders.

Your mission:

As our Group Design Lead for Global KYC Onboarding, you'll set the vision for the platform that makes onboarding into Wise safe, efficient, and scalable across all regions. Think of it as building the "Lego pieces" that regional teams can use to create localized onboarding KYC journeys - turning what currently takes months into weeks, and reducing friction for millions of customers worldwide.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • Be a cross-functional hero and partner up with the Group Product Manager, Engineering Lead, Analytics Lead, as well as researchers and content designers within your squad
  • Bridge global and local needs by collaborating with design leaders across regional teams (Europe, APAC, Americas) who will use your platform components
  • Transform a complex regulatory space by designing experiences that balance compliance requirements with smooth user experiences
  • Build the foundation for a platform that will save Wise millions in operational costs while reducing friction for legitimate customers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
