The Alaris Group is seeking an experienced Group Director of Operations

The Alaris Group is seeking an experienced Group Director of Operations to join our executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer. This is a strategic global role for an operational leader who can drive performance, lead transformation, optimise processes, and build high-performing teams across our international businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational excellence across the Group.
  • Drive continuous improvement and business transformation.
  • Translate strategy into execution.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships while managing operational risk and governance.

This role requires monthly international travel and the flexibility to work across multiple time zones, supporting our global customers, colleagues, and subsidiaries.

Qualifications, required skills and experience

  • Business relevant degree or qualification, e.g. Engineering or Finance, and/or business relevant experience
  • Significant senior operational leadership experience, ideally within a multi-site, multi-business, or group structure.
  • Proven experience leading operations across multiple geographies, managing diverse teams, cultures, and regional requirements.
  • Track record of integrating and aligning fragmented or acquired businesses into a more cohesive and effective operating model.
  • Experience driving operational performance, service delivery improvements, and organisational change in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading operational transformation, process standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, resources, and performance metrics to achieve commercial and operational objectives.
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, compliance, and health and safety requirements.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership teams and translating strategic priorities into operational action.

Candidates should ideally have 8+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, or business management (in a similar level role), where Project Management experience has also been acquired. Of which 5+ years in senior leadership roles where there is demonstrable experience balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across multiple businesses.
