Group Engineering Manager – East Anglia

About the role

Cranswick is continuing to grow and invest across our East Anglia region, and we are now seeking an experienced Group Engineering Manager to provide senior engineering leadership across multiple sites. This is a highly influential role, working closely with site leadership teams and the wider Group Engineering function to drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering operations. Reporting into the Group Engineering Director, you will oversee engineering performance across your allocated sites, ensuring assets, processes, people, and suppliers are aligned to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions that support production and long-term business growth. This is a visible, strategic role offering real impact, autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape engineering standards across the Group.

About Cranswick

Our East Anglia region is a key growth area for the business, with multiple manufacturing sites and farms operating in fast-paced environments and continued investment in facilities, technology, and people. Across Cranswick, our success is built on strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to food safety, health & safety, and continuous improvement. We work as one business, sharing best practice and driving standards forward together.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
