Group Finance Director

Oliver Sanderson is engaged with a leading Facilities business to source a Group Finance Director.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for leading the Group Finance function, driving financial performance and supporting the delivery of the Group's strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will lead Financial Control, External Reporting, Treasury, Tax and Shared Services, while partnering closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Group Finance function, ensuring robust financial control, governance and IFRS reporting.
  • Manage treasury, banking relationships, debt facilities, liquidity and financial covenant reporting.
  • Drive cash flow, working capital and forecast improvements across the business.
  • Deliver budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
  • Support acquisitions, integration activity and strategic investment decisions.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to improve commercial performance and profitability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

About You:

You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant senior finance leadership experience within a UK listed PLC or similarly complex organisation. You'll have a strong background in financial reporting, treasury, forecasting and commercial finance, together with the credibility to influence at Executive and Board level.

Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, logistics, facilities management or other operationally intensive sectors would be advantageous.
