Group Finance Manager

Halliday Marx have partnered exclusively with a London based global media company to recruit a new Group Finance Manager.

The fast growing firm, want someone with at least 3 years post qualified experience to report to the Financial Controller.

The role:

  • Full monthly management accounts including multi-currency and multi entity consolidation
  • Full responsibility for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Maintaining budget and forecast data
  • Management of 1 and reviewing all management accountants work
  • Give support to AP & AR teams
  • Monthly board pack reporting
  • Actual vs Budget/Forecast analysis & commentary
  • Department reporting and review with all budget holders
  • Supporting external advisors to help manage all local & international tax compliance
  • Creation and maintenance of data to support performance analysis
  • Ensuring that all systems reconcile: AP and AR modules and reporting systems
  • Managing the annual audit & relationship with auditors

  • 3+ years post qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • 3+ experience in a management accounting role or similar
  • Experience of leading a person / a team
  • Practice background is favoured
  • Experience of multi-company / multi-currency accounting
  • Good experience of working with large data sets
  • Sage and Salesforce experience an advantage
  • Strong systems and advanced Excel experience
  • Hands on / roll sleeves up attitude
