What you’ll be doing:
- Taking ownership of month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Ensuring financial data is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
- Performing and reviewing detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing payroll and supporting VAT processes alongside the tax team
- Preparing audit documentation and supporting year-end processes
- Strengthening controls, improving processes, and enhancing reporting
- Collaborating across teams to solve problems and drive best practice

What we’re looking for:
- Newly qualified ACA straight from practice or 1-2 years PQE
- Practice-trained, ideally with an audit background
- Strong grasp of UK GAAP / IFRS and internal controls
- Confident communicator with a proactive, self-starting mindset
- Strong Excel skills; ERP experience is a bonus
