Group Financial Accountant – Luxury Hospitality
💰 Salary: c£55k + bonus and other benefits 🏬 Location: International (based in luxury hotel environment)
A fantastic opportunity to join a lean, senior, and knowledgeable Group finance team for a global luxury hotel business. This role blends month-end activities, treasury management, and business partnering with corporate functions, with strong growth prospects as the group expands its real estate portfolio.
Ideal for recently qualified accountants looking to transition from practice to industry, supported by an exceptional line manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly Close & Journal Entries
- Lead the corporate month-end close, including accruals and prepayments accounts.

Treasury & Debt Administration
- Prepare and post accounting entries for Group debt, interest, and hedging.
- Compile group internal debt funding calculations and provide monthly debt/interest statements to hotel sites.
- Oversee the intercompany matrix and intercompany loan accounts.

Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Report on cash reserves to the Group, including updates on the short-term cash flow model and weekly cash reports.
- Collaborate with hotel Finance & Control teams to manage working capital needs.
- Process fund transfers and foreign currency purchases.

Subsidiary & Compliance Support
- Liaise with external advisers on accounting and administration for overseas corporate subsidiaries.
- Contribute to Group and UK subsidiary statutory accounts preparation.

Audits & Tax Matters
- Support the Group’s audit process.
- Assist with UK tax compliance, including VAT and Corporation Tax filings.

Ad-Hoc Projects
- Provide support to the Group Financial Reporting & Treasury Manager and VP of Finance on special projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role seeks a Chartered Accountant from one of the Big 4 or top 20 firms, with:
- Relevant experience in hospitality, retail, or real estate sectors.
- Strong transition from practice to industry available.
