Our team members are the ambassadors of our business and we are on the look out for a passionate Group Financial Accountant to join our team!

Your role

Your role will be to support the Head of Group Accounting in ensuring the Group meets financial reporting, governance, and control requirements, including:

  • Accurate and timely accounting for balance sheet and P&L items below EBITDA
  • Preparation of high quality company accounts under IFRS/FRS101/European GAAP
  • Supporting with reporting obligations, including monthly, half-year and full-year reporting cycles, audit readiness, and robust financial controls

You’ll own month-end close activities for P&L lines below EBITDA and related balance sheet accounts, delivering listed-company-standard journals, technical calculations, and robust reconciliations. The role includes:

  • Preparing monthly Group P&L and balance sheet reporting under IFRS
  • Supporting consolidation and reporting timetables
  • Producing clear balance sheet substantiation and commentary
  • Coordinating and preparing statutory accounts across UK and European subsidiaries under IFRS, FRS 101, and local GAAP, ensuring alignment with Group policies and external reporting
  • Supporting interim and full-year reporting and disclosures
  • Acting as a key contact for external auditors
  • Helping strengthen financial controls and documentation
  • Contributing to technical accounting papers
  • Supporting finance-led projects such as reporting enhancements, systems improvements, and listed-company readiness initiatives

About you

  • ACA qualified with 1-2 years post qualification experience. Technically strong with excellent knowledge of IFRS, including but not limited to IAS16, IFRS18, IFRS16, and IFRS3.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of the team, taking full ownership of assigned projects.
  • Experience working in a regulated, well-controlled reporting environment, with a clear understanding of audit and governance expectations.
  • Experience in Dynamics 365 or another major ERP system desirable.
