Main Purpose of the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Accountant to join us, based at our Head Office in Lakeside, Doncaster, with flexible agile/hybrid working (2-3 days a week in the office). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling Corporate Reporting and Accounting compliance activities within the Keepmoat Group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing statutory accounts for all *Group entities
- Providing financial accounting support and contributions
- Ensuring alignment between management reporting (produced using consolidation tools) and audited annual accounts, including reconciliation and consistency checks
- Supporting all periodic and ad hoc lender reporting, including:
- Preparation of figures for quarterly bond reporting
- Quarterly and annual covenant reporting
- Supporting processes related to PLC readiness, such as:
- Quality of glossy annual reports and other accounting documentation
- Reporting processes, timetables, and content

- Take personal responsibility for health and safety, as well as the safety of others affected by your work
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We are seeking a qualified accountant, ideally someone looking to transition into industry, who embodies our Keepmoat values. The ideal candidate will:
- Be a straightforward communicator at all levels, able to translate financial information for varied stakeholders
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving with strategic thinking, as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Be passionate about delivering accurate, timely financial information to support the business in achieving its targets
- Be collaborative, with strong relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders (all levels)
Key experience and qualifications:
- Experience in financial reporting and application of IFRS/FRS101 Accounting Standards
- Demonstrable experience in producing and auditing group consolidations within a large company/complex group financial reporting environment
- "Big 4" experience would be an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role within housebuilding would be advantageous (though not essential)
- Experience leading a finance team would also be beneficial

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
- Excellent academic record
