Group Financial Accountant

£70-75K (6 month FTC)

My client is a technology company based in Central London and are looking for a Group Financial Accountant for 6 months.

Duties Include:

  • Supporting the group consolidation and the preparation of group financial reporting, including reporting by function
  • Support monthly financial reporting, including (but not limited to) automating functional reporting, implementing regional and product-level P&L reporting, and supporting financial KPI reporting aligned to agreed business strategies
  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members, providing quality control and developing the team
  • Support audit transition to new auditor
  • Identifying and driving process improvements across the finance function
  • Leveraging AI tools and supporting or leading AI-related projects and finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and process effectiveness across the finance function

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Strong technical ground and excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced environment - comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and pace
  • A self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding
  • A genuine appetite for improving processes and project-managing change
  • Strong financial and management accounting experience
  • Experience preparing group reporting by function
  • Exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
  • Comfort with finance technology, automation, or AI tools
