Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller

London | Hybrid | £105,000 to £115,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Broadcasting. Media. Content.

Whatever you call it, this is a business that reaches millions of people every year.

And they're looking for a technically brilliant Group Financial Controller to help support the next stage of growth.

If you're the sort of person who genuinely enjoys accounting, loves getting under the bonnet of a business and gets a weird amount of satisfaction from a perfectly balanced set of accounts, then this could be right up your street.

We're working with a fast-growing international broadcasting business with operations across the UK and US. Turnover is approaching $300m and the business continues to evolve at pace. This isn't a role where you sit on the sidelines reviewing numbers from afar.

You'll lead a team of 9, own the Group reporting process and work closely with the Group Finance Director to ensure the finance function is robust, scalable and fit for the future.

If you enjoy rolling your sleeves up, improving systems and controls and being at the centre of a business that's ambitious and moving quickly, this could be a brilliant opportunity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
