About the Company

We are partnering with a top-tier, globally recognised international investment firm with a fantastic growth story and outlook. Managing north of £10Bn, the firm prides itself on having an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative culture, and an exceptional track record of value creation.

The Role

Based in London and reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will lead accounting, reporting, and financial control across our corporate group entities. You will act as the key lynchpin across the finance function and be responsible for managing relationships externally. Additionally, you will directly oversee a junior team member and manage the outsourced administration provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Regulatory Reporting: Lead consolidated group management, statutory, and regulatory reporting (including FCA filings).
  • Process Optimisation: Drive automation and continuous process improvements to scale the corporate finance function alongside company growth.
  • FP&A Management: Own the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting cycles, producing impactful management information (MI) packs for executive review.
  • AI & Tech Adoption: Champion the adoption of modern AI and automated tools within the corporate finance workflow (e.g., for VAT reviews and payment processing).
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee group UK tax compliance, managing risk, quarterly VAT returns, corporate tax preparation, and basic FATCA/CRS requirements.
  • Stakeholder & Audit Liaison: Act as the principal contact for external auditors across corporate and overseas subsidiaries.
  • Team Leadership: Serve as a mentor to the internal team, embedding high-quality accounting habits and operational discipline.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
