Brewer Morris is delighted to be supporting a fast-growing global venture capital firm as they continue to scale their international operations and appoint a Group Financial Controller into their global finance team. With a presence across multiple continents and a mission to back early-stage ventures from day zero, this is a unique opportunity to join a highly ambitious business operating at the heart of the global start-up ecosystem.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Global Finance Director, you will lead the financial control function across a complex international group, overseeing group reporting, financial controls, consolidations and IFRS compliance. This is a highly visible position offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

You will also lead and develop a team of eight finance professionals across the UK, Poland and Singapore, driving consistency, best practice and process improvements across the finance function while supporting the firm's continued global growth. This role is based in London with an expectation of approximately one day per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 8 finance professionals across multiple international locations
- Oversee month-end, year-end and group consolidation processes
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and IFRS reporting
- Partner with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy
- Lead external audits and maintain a robust control environment
- Drive finance transformation, process improvement and systems enhancements

About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in financial control, group reporting or consolidations
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent understanding of IFRS and multi-entity accounting
- NetSuite experience is essential
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
