Job Title: Group Financial Controller

Location: Surrey (2–3 days per week in the office)

Eton Bridge Partners is partnering with a private equity-backed, multi-site organisation to appoint a Group Financial Controller.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for leading the finance function, strengthening financial controls, driving business performance, and providing meaningful insight to the Senior Leadership Team and Board. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader to combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen, while playing a key role in the ongoing growth and transformation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day finance function across Financial Reporting, Transactional Finance, and Treasury.
  • Own the Group's financial reporting, month-end close, and control environment.
  • Lead statutory reporting and the external audit process.
  • Drive cash flow, working capital performance, and liquidity management.
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support decision-making.
  • Challenge business performance, costs, and margins, driving accountability across the organisation.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, auditors, and advisers.
  • Prepare and present financial information to the Leadership Team and Board.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
