Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller – Global Manufacturing Group

About the Role

ISCA Recruitment is seeking a Group Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding, ambitious manufacturing group. Reporting directly to the CFO, this pivotal role offers an opportunity for a technically strong, commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of Group reporting, drive financial excellence, and support the next phase of growth.

This is not a traditional financial control role—you’ll be a trusted business partner to the CEO, CFO, and Commercial FD, shaping strategy, strengthening controls, and leading acquisitions integration while building a scalable finance function capable of supporting the Group’s evolving structure.

Ideal for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to step into broader leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Consolidation

    • Manage preparation and delivery of Group Interim and Annual Financial Reports
    • Oversee Group consolidation for management accounts and statutory accounts
    • Implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) across the Group
  • Compliance & Audits

    • Ensure audit readiness for operating companies during year-end close
    • Collaborate with external auditors to streamline audit processes
    • Prepare subsidiary statutory accounts and steer compliance with evolving accounting standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
