A leading international investment management business is seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller to join its high-performing finance team. This is a newly created position, reflecting the company's continued growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad, hands-on leadership role with responsibility across financial control, reporting, governance, and business partnering. You will play a key role in strengthening the finance function, supporting acquisitions and the integration of newly acquired businesses, while helping drive the continued evolution of finance through process optimization, automation, and the adoption of new technologies, including AI-driven solutions.

This opportunity offers significant exposure to senior leadership, the chance to influence the future direction of the finance function, and genuine long-term career progression within an ambitious and growing organisation. The business offers a collaborative culture, flexible hybrid working, and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
