Group Financial Controller
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £100,000–£120,000 + Bonus + Benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing £50m turnover advertising business at a pivotal stage in its journey. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial control while partnering with the wider business to support continued growth. Leading a high-performing finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening processes and controls, and providing the financial insight required to support strategic decision-making. This role offers a genuine opportunity to influence the direction of the business while working closely with an experienced leadership team.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the CFO, you'll have overall responsibility for the group's financial control environment, overseeing the month-end close, statutory reporting, group consolidations and all technical accounting matters.
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information across multiple entities while maintaining strong financial governance and compliance.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, drive improvements to financial processes, reporting and internal controls, while supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Take ownership of the year-end audit, tax compliance and the preparation of statutory accounts, acting as the key point of contact for external auditors and advisors.
- Play an important role in developing the finance team, improving systems and supporting commercial projects, acquisitions and wider strategic initiatives where required.

Requirements
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- Previous experience operating as a Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller or Head of Finance within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
- Strong technical accounting background, including experience of group consolidations, statutory reporting and audit management.
- Commercial awareness to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Experience within advertising, media, marketing, technology or other project-based businesses would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other high-growth sectors will also be considered.
