Job Description

Overview of the Role

Are you a qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career within a FTSE 100 organisation? As our Group Financial Reporting Analyst, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, trusted financial reporting that supports decision-making across Sage and provides confidence to external stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical accounting expertise, gain exposure to senior leaders across the business, and contribute to Sage's financial reporting and control environment. Working across a diverse international organisation, you'll partner with teams including Treasury, Tax, Commercial Finance, Investor Relations and regional finance teams, helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Overview of the Team

You'll join Sage's Financial Accounting & Reporting team, responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across the Group. The team sits at the centre of Sage's finance organisation and works closely with stakeholders across global finance functions to support monthly reporting, external financial statements, technical accounting matters, balance sheet governance and external audit activity.

This collaborative and supportive team provides excellent opportunities for learning, development and exposure to complex financial reporting matters within a global, multi-currency business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
