About The Role

PwC LLP Group, encompassing PwC UK, the Middle East and the Channel Islands, is a leading professional services organisation generating over £6bn in revenue and recognised for innovation, excellence and career development opportunities. The Group Financial Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in preparing consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, ensuring compliance, accuracy and audit readiness. The position supports major finance transformation initiatives, provides technical accounting guidance and works closely with senior leaders to enhance reporting processes through technology. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance professional looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic, evolving and forward-thinking environment.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Lead the delivery of Group and subsidiary financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality statutory reporting and disclosures.
  • Oversee the financial close and audit process, providing technical accounting expertise and ensuring compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, auditors and governance bodies to deliver clear financial insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Drive team performance and continuous improvement through coaching, process optimisation, enhanced controls and reporting transformation initiatives.

This Role Is For You If

  • A relevant finance qualification such as CA, ACA, CIMA or ACCA (or International Equivalent)
  • Have relevant post-qualification experience in financial reporting or external audit, ideally within a large or complex organisation or professional services firm.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong IFRS knowledge and experience preparing and reviewing consolidated group and subsidiary financial statements. Confident dealing with complex accounting issues and engaging with auditors and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Influence: Experience managing and developing individuals. Strong communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Systems and Process Capability: Experienced in using financial reporting systems and ERP environments. Strong Excel skills and experience delivering process improvements or project work.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insight. Maintain high attention to detail while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
