About the Role
Dartmouth Partners has been mandated by a high-growth, Private Equity backed international consulting business in the search for a Group Head of FP&A. The Group Head of FP&A will play an integral finance executive role for a multi-billion revenue business with significant exposure to shareholders, C-suite, CEO, PE investors, Board and Group CFO. As a leader for the global FP&A function, you will be at the helm of the financial strategy and setting FP&A standards, reporting to the Finance Director and dotted line to Group CFO. This is a chance to make a real impact during an upcoming transaction, driving change and transformation, working alongside a talented team of finance business partners and commercial finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring CEO and CFO are well prepared for Divisional meetings around financial results, budgeting and reforecasts.
- Own and continuously improve group-level management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning processes.
- Act as the final quality gate for Group FP&A outputs, maintaining exacting standards and confidence in the numbers at all times.
- Own the ongoing evolution of Group planning processes to ensure they are fit for purpose in a global, multi-region context.
- Presenting insightful MI, analysis and financial information to the global CFO and investors. Ensuring strategic models are transparent, well-structured and aligned to core FP&A forecasts and reported results.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

- Leverage financial systems and data to enhance insight quality, speed and usability for stakeholders.
- Management of short-term reforecasting and ad hoc requests such as financial planning for large projects and M&A.
- Oversee financial modelling, investment analysis, and due diligence activities for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

- Consulting/Professional Services/Technology/Business Services industry experience.
- Experience with Private Equity backed environments.
- Experience with Board, C-level stakeholders in challenging scenarios.
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, 5 – 10 years + PQ minimum.
- In-house FP&A experience at Senior Manager/Head of level upwards.
