Group Head of FP&A

Group Head of FP&A | London | Private Equity-Backed | Build a Function. Drive Growth.

Salary: £110,000 – £125,000 + Bonus

I'm partnering with a private equity-backed Facilities Management company embarking on an ambitious buy-and-build journey.

About the Role

Over the past year, the business has completed multiple strategic acquisitions across the UK, creating a Group approaching £200m in revenue, with a strong pipeline of further acquisitions already identified.

To support the next phase of growth, they are looking to appoint a Group Head of FP&A in a newly created role reporting directly to the CFO.

This is a rare opportunity to build the Group FP&A function from the ground up, creating the financial infrastructure that will support a rapidly expanding organisation. Instead of inheriting an established function, you will have the autonomy to shape how the business plans, measures, and manages performance across the Group.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the CFO, executive leadership team, and operating businesses, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building and developing a best-in-class Group FP&A function.
  • Leading the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Designing KPI frameworks and executive dashboards that provide meaningful commercial insight.
  • Delivering board and investor-quality reporting.
  • Developing financial models, scenario planning, and strategic analysis to support key business decisions.
  • Improving visibility across revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Embedding consistent reporting, governance, and financial discipline as the Group continues to grow.
  • Acting as a true business partner to operational leaders, helping to drive performance across multiple businesses.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
