Role Summary
The Group Health and Safety Manager ensures the organisation meets all necessary legislative obligations in the countries it operates while driving continuous improvement in Health and Safety (H&S) standards across the business.
This role requires:
- Leading the assessment, development, and implementation of H&S policies, procedures, and practices.
- Providing legally compliant advice, support, and guidance to employees at all levels.
- Holding professional qualifications in Health and Safety and prior experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Compliance Leadership
- Develop, implement, and manage a Health and Safety management system (HSMS) aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of legal H&S requirements across all territories.
- Ensure full compliance with:
- Relevant Health and Safety legislation
- ISO 45001 requirements (Occupational Health & Safety)
- ISO 45001 certification maintenance (where applicable)
- Plan and conduct internal audits against legal, regulatory, ISO 45001, and business requirements.
Risk & Incident Management
- Conduct due diligence for Once For All Group acquisitions.
- Perform gap analyses for Group entities lacking ISO 45001 certification, then plan and implement HSMS improvements.
- Execute business risk assessments and Health and Safety inspections.
- Investigate, record, report, and analyse incidents (accidents and near-misses).

Employee Engagement & Training
- Deliver H&S training across all levels of the organisation.
- Support departmental initiatives to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors to deliver country-specific H&S procedures and training.
Emergency & Operational Support
- Manage emergency procedures and coordinate teams (e.g., first aid, fire response).
- Provide general H&S advice to employees worldwide.
- Liaise with external enforcement agencies and regulators as required.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
- Actively drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Work with global stakeholders, balancing local cultural nuances with legal, regulatory, and business needs.
- Travel to Group entities, including internationally, as needed.

- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Company policies published on the internal intranet.
- Complete annual training as directed by the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team.
- Perform any reasonably required duties for the role.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
Must-have qualifications, skills, and experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma certification.
- IOSH membership.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Health and Safety role, including:
- Practical experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001.
- Ability to positively represent Once For All and engage at all stakeholder levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Demonstrable skill in cross-functional collaboration, fostering inclusivity and teamwork.
- Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships—both internal and external.
- Commitment to adhering to company policies and core values, acting as a role model for ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualification
- Proficiency in a second language (preferably French or Spanish).
