Group HR Advisor
We currently have a great opportunity to join our HR team at a really exciting time for our growing business.
The Bristow and Sutor Group of companies is a leader in the debt resolution sector, operating for over 40 years supporting hundreds of local authorities and Transport for London.
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our small, busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the HR team to provide an HR Advisory service across the Group, ensuring comprehensive and efficient first line advisory, case management and HR project support.

Job Details
- Pay: c. £35,000 (DOE)
- Full time: 37.5 hours per week.
- 30 days annual leave: (22 plus bank hols, with service-related increases)
- Permanent
- Location: This is a hybrid role based at our Redditch office which close to the M40/M42 motorway network so we are easily accessible from Birmingham, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver a quality first line advisory service; coaching managers on policy and procedure to ensure adherence to best practice.
- Undertake ER/Sickness case management and investigations, including formal documentation and note taking. Escalation to the Business Partner team as appropriate.
- Support the production of supporting material for managers eg. letter templates and toolkits/guidance notes.
- Support/ownership of HR projects as required
- Drive team effectiveness and strive for continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Proven ER experience, including investigations, case management and formal consultation.
- Excellent written English
- Experience of working on HR projects
- Demonstrable attention to detail
- Credible judgement and decision making
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a coaching style
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proven ability to juggle conflicting priorities whilst working at pace
- Data driven, inquisitive and improvement focused
- High emotional intelligence
