Role Opportunity: Information Technology - Group Infrastructure, Operations and Security Manager
Hours: 40 per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid with 3 days in office
Location: Vitacress Portugal with occasional travel to our UK farms and UK sites
Salary: up to £75,000 depending on experience, plus incentive scheme, private medical insurance, company pension, subsidised EV charging and more

Technology is becoming central to how Vitacress operates and grows. We're investing significantly in our technology platforms, cyber security capability and digital transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Group Infrastructure, Operations & Security Manager to help shape that journey.
Leading a geographically distributed team across the UK and Portugal, you'll play a key role in delivering secure, resilient and modern technology services that support everything from office users to business-critical manufacturing operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Vitacress at a pivotal point in its technology journey. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, lead significant technology change, develop a talented international team and help shape the future technology landscape of the Group.
In this role you'll…
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed Infrastructure, Operations & Security team across the UK and Portugal.
- Create a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership across infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, cyber security and operational technology.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, engineering teams and technology partners across the Group.
- Balance strategic technology planning with operational excellence and service delivery.
- Become a trusted technology partner to colleagues across the business, balancing operational excellence, cyber security and commercial awareness to help the Group achieve its strategic objectives.
- Help shape and deliver the Group's technology strategy across office, warehouse and manufacturing environments.

You'll do this for us…
- Drive the ongoing modernisation of Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and associated security platforms.
- Develop infrastructure roadmaps, technical standards and lifecycle plans that support a secure and scalable technology estate.
- Lead the Group's cyber security capability, covering identity management, endpoint security, monitoring, incident response, backup and recovery.
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements are maintained and regularly tested.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to support business-critical manufacturing and operational technologies.
- Manage strategic relationships with technology suppliers, managed service providers and cyber security partners.
- Support transformational initiatives including Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, AI, automation and cloud platform modernisation.
You can do this if you have…
- Significant experience managing enterprise infrastructure, network and cyber security environments within complex, multi-site organisations.
- Strong expertise across Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint management and cloud platforms.
- Experience developing technology strategies, infrastructure roadmaps, technical standards and operational improvement programmes.
- A proven track record of leading technical teams, managing suppliers and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security, operational resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity and security governance.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operational technology, warehouse or other business-critical operational environments.
- Exposure to technologies and frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, SOC/SIEM solutions, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, ITIL, NIST, CIS or TOGAF would be advantageous.
