Group Injection Moulding Specialist
We are looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Specialist who will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in injection moulding processes, supporting the successful introduction and transfer of moulding technologies across our global manufacturing sites, and providing technical expertise, training, and process optimisation to ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
This position will be joining our thriving UK medical device manufacturing company to work within our Group Engineering Department, supporting operations across our global manufacturing sites in the UK, China, USA, and Malaysia.
The successful candidate will be able to drive continuous improvement initiatives within injection moulding operations while supporting the transfer, validation, and implementation of new moulds, machines, and processes across our global manufacturing sites. They will provide technical guidance, coaching, and hands-on training to engineering and production teams, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments to optimise manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards.

Essential Experience/Qualifications
- Extensive experience in injection moulding process optimisation
- Injection Moulding Machine Specification
- Knowledge and understanding of Thermoplastic materials, Process Optimisation, Injection Mould tooling, DFM, FMEA, Validation
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent level qualification
- Mould tool manufacturing
- Master Moulder
- Experience in Medical device manufacturing
- Experience in Blow moulding and Extrusion
- Mould Flow Analysis
