Group Insurance Manager
Reporting to: Group Treasurer Location: London
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Group Insurance Manager to lead our global insurance strategy and programme. You’ll oversee:
- Risk identification
- Insurance placement
- Claims management across the Group
- Alignment with governance and risk frameworks
Working within Group Treasury, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders, including the Board and Risk & Audit Committees, to provide expert insurance advice and insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual insurance renewals, including:
- Data analysis
- Insurer negotiations
- Manage global insurance programmes across assets and liabilities
- Partner with business units to align insurance with risk appetite
- Provide guidance on insurance in contracts, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and operational activity
- Manage broker and insurer relationships
- Oversee claims handling and reporting
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes
- Support risk management initiatives with Group Risk and Treasury

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in insurance management in a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Insurance principles
- Risk management
- Proven experience managing complex global programmes
- Excellent:
- Stakeholder management
- Communication skills
- Commercial, proactive, and highly organised
Qualifications
- Preferred: Relevant professional insurance qualification
