Finance Sr. Specialist – Internal Controls

About the Role

Job Summary

The Finance Sr. Specialist is responsible for managing financial reporting, analysis, and planning activities. This role supports business decision-making by providing accurate financial insights and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

This job profile is intended for specialist professionals who apply advanced knowledge of their field. You will be required to manage projects/processes independently with limited supervision, typically coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the risk-focused design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Group’s Internal Controls System (ICS)
    • Actively support control implementation, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and ensure alignment with evolving risk environments
    • Develop hands-on practical control solutions and perform compliance reviews
    • Conduct on-site visits to build strong networks, foster collaboration, and enable effective risk management
    • Support Senior Management in decision-making on Internal Control matters

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A University degree (or equivalent work experience) preferred
  • Accountancy Qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, ACA) essential
  • 5–7 years (or equivalent skills and experience) in a relevant finance, risk, or controls role
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial systems
  • Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and experience with internal controls
  • Ideally, experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Hands-on experience working across multiple countries or regions (with a focus on Global, APAC, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
