Group Key Account Manager – Aerospace
Responsibilities
The Group Key Account Manager will lead business development and relationship management for one of our largest aerospace customers, acting as the primary liaison between the customer and Parker across multiple divisions, products, and sites.
The role is responsible for:
- Securing new business
- Maintaining existing revenues
- Managing complex customer programs from pursuit through production
- Ensuring regular engagement across customer teams, division leadership, and senior executives
Your primary account ownership: A multi-year, multi-million-dollar relationship driving profitability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders across:
- Engineering
- Procurement
- Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)
- Operational teams
- Identify and pursue profitable new business opportunities, including:
- Analyzing customer needs, market trends, competition, pricing, and programme viability
- Delivering commercially sound proposals and contract negotiations
- Act as the single point of contact between customers, Parker divisions, and leadership, ensuring:
- Timely communication on programme progress, business requirements, and strategic opportunities
- Alignment of commercial, technical, and operational objectives
- Support commercial activities, including:
- Proposal writing and evaluation
- Contract renewals
- Preparation for customer meetings
- Safeguarding Parker’s intellectual property and business interests
- Provide customer-facing expertise, including:
- Technical and business presentations
- Issue resolution and crisis management
- Insights into future aerospace trends and engineering innovations

Who We Are Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years’ progressive experience in technical sales or marketing, including:
- 5+ years in:
- Senior programme management
- Major account responsibility
- 5+ years in:
- Deep industry knowledge of:
- Aerospace products, technologies, and regulatory frameworks (airlines, military, or OEM markets)
- Customer support requirements for maintenance, operations, and equipment procurement
- Financial and contractual acumen, including:
- Understanding of commercial terms, financial modelling, and proposal evaluation
- Skill in developing business cases
- Technical programme management experience, demonstrating:
- Strong proposal development capabilities
- Proficiency in business applications, including Salesforce
- Process optimization and stakeholder management
