Group Management Accountant – Nottingham, RH Commercial Vehicles
Location: Nottingham, Phoenix Business Park Salary: From £47,000 per year Hours: Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 17:15
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Management Accounts team to maximise performance and engagement.
- Provide coaching, clear direction, and support to enhance productivity.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial Reporting & Control
- Oversee accurate, timely management accounts preparation and delivery.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations, Fixed Asset Register maintenance, and WIP/stock report integrity.
- Manage group recharges and refine financial controls.
Technical Accounting & Compliance
- Handle hire purchase and finance lease accounting.
- Lead year-end close with unwavering accuracy and under tight deadlines.
- Prepare for statutory audits and maintain robust compliance.
Group Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Deliver high-quality financial insights to internal & external stakeholders.
- Advise on data-driven strategic decisions.
- Build strong relationships across the business.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Champion efficiency enhancements (process changes, system optimisation).
- Support new systems implementation.
- Drive innovation in finance operations.
Requirements & Desirable Experience
Essential
- CIMA or ACCA qualification with technical expertise and a commercial, results-driven approach.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to foster high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication (translating complexity into actionable insights).
- Problem-solving & analytical rigor with a focus on commercial impact.
- Organisational agility—handling multiple priorities with precision.
- Proven continuous improvement mindset.

- The commercial vehicle or vehicle rentals industry.
- Microsoft Dynamics GP – Business Central.
