About The Role
The Group Paralegal provides day-to-day support to the Group Legal and Company Secretariat (Co Sec) functions.
The role combines legal administration, contract support and governance coordination, including maintaining contract records in LawVu and supporting Board and Committee processes.
Working closely with the Legal team and Company Secretary, the role will provide essential operational support while offering the opportunity to develop experience across both legal and corporate governance disciplines.
This role will be on an initial 6 month fixed term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Legal & Contract Support
- Prepare and issue standard form agreements (including NDAs) using approved templates
- Maintain contract records within LawVu, ensuring accurate metadata and version control
- Support contract lifecycle management, including tracking key dates and obligations
- Assist with routine internal legal queries and contract organisation

Legal Team Administration
- Provide day to day administrative support to the Legal team, including document management, filing and inbox support
- Assist with preparing, formatting and maintaining legal documents, guidance notes and templates
- Support matter tracking and organisation to ensure clear audit trails
- Receive structured training on legal processes, contract basics and internal frameworks
Company Secretariat (Co Sec) Support – Shadowing
- Provide administrative support to the Company Secretariat function on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinate meetings, including room bookings, scheduling and diary invites for Non-Executive Directors and Executive stakeholders
- Support the collation and administrative preparation of Board and Committee papers under supervision
- Support the maintenance of governance records and document repositories
- Assist with basic company secretarial tasks under supervision (e.g. document filing, record updates)
- Shadow the Company Secretary to develop understanding of corporate governance and regulatory expectations
About You
Essential
Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Confidentiality & Judgement: Handles sensitive legal and Board information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience in a paralegal, legal support or professional services administrative role
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Willingness to learn and develop in a legal and governance environment
Desirable
- Exposure to legal documents or contracts (even at a basic level, e.g. NDAs)
- Experience supporting meetings or senior stakeholders
- Interest in corporate governance or Company Secretariat work
