Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building products specifically for developer, infrastructure, or platform ecosystems.
- Experience with system design and data flows, and navigating technical tradeoffs with engineers.
- Experience with cutting-edge AI, agentic systems, or scientific tool-building.
- Expertise in data-heavy products requiring governance, safety, and trust guarantees.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and manage alignment across multiple large-scale organizations.
- Proven ability to lead through complex environments and operate effectively at a system or portfolio level.

About The Job

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Google Labs is focused on incubating early-stage efforts in direct support of Google's core products and mission. We exist to help Google discover and create new cutting edge AI products. To do this, we focus on small teams that take a product driven approach to creating those “next things”.
Responsibilities
- Work in a cross-functional team to create AI products that meet scientists needs and help advance research.
- Work closely with research teams in GDM, Google Research, and Cloud to develop and apply state-of-the-art LLM and GenAI research breakthroughs into products and features.
- Develop an understanding of language technologies and approach to applying them in the products contexts.
