Purpose

The Group Reporting Accountant is responsible for supporting the preparation, consolidation and delivery of accurate and timely group financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with US GAAP, internal policies and statutory requirements while supporting the wider finance function through analysis, controls and continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end group reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports
  • Manage Intercompany reporting and reconciliation, ensuring mismatches between countries are resolved
  • Prepare quarterly country-by-country performance analysis
  • Coordinate quarterly SOX 302 certification and support wider SOX compliance activity
  • Own selected HQ controls and assist with onsite control reviews across local finance teams
  • Deliver monthly project reporting, including loss-making projects, underbilling’s and related performance indicators
  • Prepare monthly group cash flow reporting to support free cash flow target monitoring
  • Partner with local and regional finance teams to improve reporting accuracy, controls and process efficiency
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications/Skills

  • Qualified/Part-Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Group reporting or consolidation experience in a multinational environment
  • Understanding of multi-currency reporting and complex intercompany arrangements
  • Experience with consolidation packages – HFM or OneStream (OS preferred, but not critical)
  • Experience in supporting a robust business control environment
  • Working understanding of US GAAP is preferred, but not essential
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
