NEW ROLE | Group Reporting Accountant | London | 6 Months Contract to PERM 🚨
I'm currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Accountant to join a collaborative and fast-paced finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to senior stakeholders, investor reporting, and technical accounting within a dynamic group environment. This role is hybrid working based in London.
The Group Reporting Advisor leads the Group's external financial reporting process and acts as the resident IFRS 16 specialist, playing a central role in delivering accurate, timely, and fully compliant reporting to shareholders, bondholders, and other external stakeholders. The role owns the shareholder financial reporting pack and group statutory financial statements end-to-end and is directly responsible for monitoring and evidencing compliance with bond covenants.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
