Group Reporting Manager
Windsor (Hybrid)
The Context
Morgan Advanced Materials makes highly engineered ceramics, carbon and composites that solve real-world industrial problems. In simple terms: complex materials for demanding applications, used all over the world.
With £1.1bn revenue, 8,500 employees and operations across 20+ countries, there’s scale here—and complexity to match. That’s where this role comes in. You’ll be right at the centre of Group reporting, making sure the numbers stack up and tell a clear story.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the monthly IFRS consolidation across a 70+ site, multi-currency business. It’s hands-on, detail-heavy work—but with real visibility across the Group.
You’ll also play a key role in half-year and year-end reporting, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to get things over the line (accurately and on time).
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
Run the monthly Group IFRS consolidation (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) Post and review consolidation journals in SAP BPC Analyse results and provide clear, useful commentary (not just number dumps) Review submissions from regional teams—challenge where needed Work closely with Treasury, Tax and FP&A to validate reporting Support half-year and year-end statutory reporting, including notes and disclosures Liaise with external auditors and prepare technical accounting papers Get involved in projects—restructures, acquisitions, disposals, new standards Spot inefficiencies and improve processes where you can

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
