Group Reporting Manager – Challenger Brand
Location: London, Hybrid working
Salary: £70/80k plus options
Talentedge are searching for an experienced Group Reporting Manager with strong e-commerce, D2C or inventory experience. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work for an online leader in their Central London office, overseeing the international accounting activity with the support of a brilliant wider team and reporting into the Finance Director.
The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have a strong understanding of UK and international tax laws. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong analytical mindset to support with the business financial strategy and execution.
Core Duties
- Line management of two direct reports
- Overseeing the audit process
- Ensuring full compliance with reporting standards; financial regulations and statutory law
- Overseeing cashflow, debt and debt collection management
- Accurately record all transactions; ensuring all are filed and reported
- Supporting on financial strategy and execution
- Continuous streamlining of all operations and accounting systems to maximise efficiency
- Revenue recognition
- Managing Inventory Accounting, General Ledger & Counsel, Cost Accounting
- Supporting CFO to produce budget and financial forecasting; presenting reports to the Board
- Accurate annual/monthly reporting
- VAT/Sales return

Key Requirements
- Ideally ACA/ACCA
- Strong understanding of best practice Accounting & Finance
- Ability to work in fast-paced e-commerce environment with proven commercial approach to financial management
- Confident ability to demonstrate practical knowledge of management accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting packages and financial systems
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- UK & US experience
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- In-depth knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting
