Job Title: Group Reporting Manager
Location: Knutsford | Hybrid (2–3 days on-site, flexible)
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + up to 20% bonus
Robert Half has partnered with a global engineering business to recruit a Group Reporting Manager.
A well-established, internationally operating organisation is looking to strengthen its finance function with an experienced Group Reporting Manager. You will take ownership of a small team and act as a key link between technical accounting and the wider finance function, helping shape how the group reports and controls its numbers as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the group consolidation cycle and delivering clear, insight-led reporting across monthly, half-year and annual cycles
- Taking ownership of statutory accounts at both group level and for UK subsidiaries
- Managing, coaching and developing a small team of accountants
- Working closely with FP&A teams on budgets, forecasts and longer-term planning
- Strengthening financial controls and reducing reporting risk
- Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors during the consolidation audit process
- Ensuring accounting policies remain up to date and aligned with IFRS
- Identifying and implementing improvements to reporting processes and efficiency

Candidate Requirements

- ACA (or equivalent) qualified, Big 4 trained preferred
- Strong experience in group or PLC reporting environments
- Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across a business
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and reporting controls
- Open to considering first time movers from practice who are at the senior manager level
