What You’ll Do

The Group Reward, Benefits & IM Lead acts as the benefits subject-matter expert for international markets (for example, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Singapore and the US), ensuring local benefit arrangements and insured plans are compliant, competitive, and aligned with Group reward principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the VGS Reward team in delivering reward expertise, solutions, and operational support, aligned with business strategy.
  • Be the lead person responsible for managing policies across the VGS footprint, ensuring they are up-to-date and drafting new policies for emerging locations.
  • Collaborate closely with the IM team and Group Reward & Policy Director to manage both internal and external Vodafone Leadership Team hires and relocations.
  • Manage relationships with immigration and relocation suppliers and provide support to the Global Employment & Expatriate Tax Senior Manager on all employment and expatriate taxation processes.

Core Tasks:

  • Conduct periodic reviews and renewals of local and international benefit programs while managing broker and insurer relationships.
  • Recommend plan design, coverage, and cost strategies while driving policy and programs to attract and retain critical talent.
  • Support business-as-usual reward processes, including the Annual Reward Review (ARR) and the annual reward benchmarking exercise.
  • Oversee international mobility for the Leadership team.
  • Assist with employment and expatriate tax compliance, including:
    • Short-term business visitor monitoring
    • Directors’ expense reporting
    • PAYE Settlement Agreement
    • Share scheme reporting
  • Contribute to Group Reward & Policy Team projects across the organisation.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in Reward roles within international and cross-cultural environments.
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while demonstrating diplomatic communication skills.
  • Expertise in translating complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Highly numerate, with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Awareness of employment and expatriate tax (not essential but ideal).
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and insured arrangements.
