Group Risk Proposition Consultant
Hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share, or full-time basis
Location: Flexible, with travel to our Swindon office once a week
Salary: £42,000 - £64,000 per annum, dependant on experience
The opportunity:
We’re well established in the Group Insurance Market and are making a substantial impact through our unique and innovative proposition which is continuing to be extremely well received by our customers and their employees and has recently won several awards.
As a result of the exciting growth within Zurich Corporate Risk (ZCR), we have an opportunity to join our Market Management team as a Group Risk Proposition Consultant, on a permanent basis. What will you be doing?
As Group Risk Proposition Consultant, you will:
Consolidate proposition plans with input from relevant stakeholders, with a particular focus on the flexible benefit sector Support the development and management of a 3-year proposition strategy and plans Coordinate cross-functional efforts to identify and develop new or enhanced propositions / features Develop business cases for defined projects to determine potential benefits, clarify the rationale for investment and support the planning process Effectively identified risks when designing new propositions / features and follow risk and compliance procedures to ensure compliant with organizational policies Contribute to the execution of competitive analysis in own area of expertise (e.g. pricing, coverage, brand etc.), reconciling internal perspectives (costs and risks) with external perspectives (customer needs, competitiveness) Research primary data sources, select relevant information, analyse key themes and trends, and make recommendations to inform design of new propositions / feature / processes Research best practice and review and analyse detailed business models to support senior management in developing and improving propositions / products, processes, and systems Oversee the implementation of processes, systems configuration, and training in own function area to ensure that propositions / products under development are effectively delivered Support the management of 3rd party supplier agreements and intermediary consultancy / distribution agreements Act as subject matter expert for the wider ZCR business in support of effective proposition manage and service delivery

Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you will have:
Substantial experience in a technical group risk role (Corporate Protection), including the flexible benefits sector Relevant professional qualifications preferred, e.g. GR1 or FPC, Project management Good numeracy and literacy skills Ability to work to deadlines and work well under pressure Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to manage self and work well within a project team environment Experience working with intermediaries / customers desirable
