What You’ll Do

Role purpose: helping Vodafone understand and manage risk by providing advice on existing and incoming security regulation.

  • Analyse and evaluate Vodafone’s level of compliance against the regulatory requirements
  • Participate in, and occasionally manage, programmes to bring Vodafone into compliance:
    • Provide advice on turning complex security regulations into clear, actionable guidance
    • Drive or support implementation of policies, controls, systems and processes as necessary to solve the problem
  • Provide support to, and liaise with senior stakeholders in regulatory matters
  • Engage professional communities across Vodafone, acting as a key enabler in creating a security culture and achieving regulatory compliance
  • Support communication with regulators and relevant authorities
  • Participate in, and occasionally manage ad-hoc, high-profile projects improving Vodafone’s security posture
  • Developing a deep understanding of selected, highest-impacting security regulations (existing and incoming)
  • Participating in, or managing programmes to achieve compliance with security regulation
  • Engaging SMEs and stakeholders to enable high-quality delivery and to foster security culture and community

Who You Are

  • At least 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, assurance, or internal audit type roles
  • Ability to understand, analyse and syntesise (often in writing) complex information
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office: advanced use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain professional relationships, often virtually
  • Managing a dynamic, fast-paced working environment where prioritising, tracking tasks to completion and consistent, high-quality delivery are critical
  • Understanding of, or experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Experience in Corporate Security topics
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English

  • Yearly bonus: 10%
  • Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year
