Group Senior IT Auditor

Hybrid – Modern HQ in Dunstable (Easy access from London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire)

Astrum Search is delighted to be partnering with a leading FTSE 100 hospitality business to recruit a Senior IT Auditor.

Reporting into the Internal Audit leadership team, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing function that plays a key role in providing assurance over technology, cyber and data risks across a complex business.

The position offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders, major technology change programmes and the opportunity to leverage data analytics and AI throughout the audit lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end IT audit assignments, from planning and scoping through to reporting and follow-up
  • Assess technology, cyber, data and third-party risks, identifying control improvements that strengthen the overall control environment
  • Provide assurance over major technology and business transformation programmes, reviewing governance, delivery risk and control readiness
  • Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, providing pragmatic advice and constructive challenge
  • Utilise data analytics and AI tools to enhance audit planning, testing and reporting, driving greater insight and efficiency

Skills & Experience:

  • CISA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in IT internal audit, technology risk or IT assurance
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, cyber security, cloud, data governance, access management and technology control frameworks
  • Experience delivering integrated IT and business audits, ideally within a listed corporate environment or Big Four firm
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and translating complex technical risks into clear business outcomes
  • Exposure to Power BI, data analytics and emerging AI-enabled audit techniques would be highly advantageous
