Group SEO & Discoverability Specialist
Group SEO & Discoverability Specialist – Leading Specialist Travel Group
We have a brand new, fabulous opportunity for a Group SEO & Discoverability Specialist to join our leading specialist travel group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading organic growth, search visibility, and digital discoverability across the Group’s portfolio of travel brands.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CMO and based in either the Horsham or Chester office, this role will own the Group SEO strategy, ensuring that organic search remains a key driver of:
- Customer acquisition
- Brand awareness
- Commercial performance
As search behaviour evolves, this position will also lead the Group’s approach to AI-driven discoverability, ensuring brands remain visible and authoritative across:
- Traditional search engines
- Emerging generative search experiences
In collaboration with Brand, Content, Commercial, and Technology teams, this role will deliver:
- Immediate SEO performance improvements
- Long-term organic growth opportunities

Key Responsibilities
The Group SEO & Discoverability Specialist will:
- Own and deliver the Group SEO roadmap across all brands
- Drive growth in:
- Qualified organic traffic
- Enquiries
- Revenue
- Embed SEO insight into wider marketing and commercial planning
- Lead the organic content strategy for the entire Group portfolio
- Work with content, social, and brand teams to enhance content effectiveness
- Develop and execute the Group’s approach to:
- AI search optimisation
- Digital discoverability
- Improve brand visibility within:
- AI-generated search experiences
- Answer engines
- Provide technical SEO guidance and recommendations for all brands, including:
- Crawlability
- Indexation
- Site performance
- Structured data
- Support website teams in:
- Optimising for AI and search engines
- Technical improvements
- Monitor and report on organic performance across the Group
- Lead and develop two SEO team members
- Manage external SEO agencies and specialist partners
- Serve as the Group’s subject matter expert for search and discoverability

Essential Requirements
- Significant SEO experience within a multi-brand digital business
- Strong knowledge of content-led SEO strategies
- Technical SEO expertise
- Experience managing SEO agencies and external partners
- Proven ability to deliver organic growth and commercial outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience in leading or mentoring team members (Please note: this role involves supporting two SEO team members)
- Ideally, industry-specific knowledge of the travel sector
- Awareness of AI-driven search and generative search experiences
