Group Social Content Creator - AVP
Group Social Content Creator (AVP) – Barclays
We are seeking a highly creative and social-first Group Social Content Creator (AVP) to join Group Creative Services, Barclays’ in-house creative studio. Reporting to the Head of Group Creative Services and working in partnership with the Group Social team, you will play a key role in bringing the Barclays brand to life through engaging, platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for a content creator who combines:
- Strong shooting, editing, and photography skills
- A deep understanding of social media trends, audience behaviors, and digital storytelling
You will create compelling content tailored for social audiences, delivering projects from concept to final output while balancing creativity, pace, and quality.
As part of Barclays' growing in-house creative studio, you will also:
- Shape Barclays’ social content capability by developing audience-led content
- Advise on social-first creative approaches
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business
- Champion innovative storytelling that drives engagement and strengthens the Barclays brand.

- Create engaging and impactful graphics and video content for multiple digital and physical channels.
- Manage filming and post-production editing processes, ensuring high-quality delivery.

As an Assistant Vice President, your role includes:
- Advising and influencing decision-making, while contributing to policy development.

Requirements
Essential Experience & Skills
Must have the following:
- Proven track record of creating high-performing social content, showcasing platform-first creative storytelling.
- Advanced video production skills, including:
- Filming and photography
- End-to-end content creation (camera equipment, mobile devices, and Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Deep platform knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X, with the ability to:
- Translate trends and best practices into channel-specific, audience-driven content.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience delivering work at pace within regulated environments.

Location & Flexibility
This role is based at Barclays HQ, Canary Wharf, London.
- Work may require flexibility outside of standard business hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, for live events and social content deadlines.
