Group Tax Advisor
What you'll bring to the team Group Tax Advisor Location: London, Basingstoke or Poole We are recruiting for a Group Tax Advisor, to join our awesome Group Tax Team! As a Group Tax Advisor, you’ll be a key member of a global tax team, working across regions to support corporate tax compliance, reporting and strategic advisory work. Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the Group meets its global tax obligations accurately and efficiently. You will take the lead on UK corporation tax compliance and contribute significantly to group tax reporting under IFRS, working closely with finance teams, external advisers and auditors. Your work will help deliver robust reporting, forecasting and governance across the Group. Beyond compliance, you’ll act as a trusted business partner, advising on transactions and projects such as M&A, restructurings and refinancing, supporting transfer pricing and BEPS Pillar 2 initiatives, and helping identify opportunities to optimise tax outcomes. You’ll also drive process improvements, strengthen controls and build tax awareness across the organisation. Qualifications & Experience Recognised accounting and/or tax qualification (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong corporate tax experience, ideally within a multinational group or large advisory environment Good working knowledge of group and entity tax reporting under IAS 12 / IFRS Experience preparing or reviewing UK corporate tax returns and managing adviser relationships Exposure to group tax forecasting, ETR calculations and statutory tax disclosures Transfer pricing knowledge, including policy development and compliance documentation Experience with BEPS initiatives (e.g. Pillar 2 and public country-by-country reporting) is an advantage Confidence partnering with finance, treasury and international stakeholders Ability to manage risk, maintain governance frameworks and lead compliance processes (e.g. SAO) Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills Highly organised, proactive and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery Experience with ERP and reporting tools (NetSuite preferred), MS Office and Alteryx Benefits 40% discount off LEGO® sets and products on the online LEGO Store!
