Group Tax Reporting Lead

This role provides an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the growing IVC Evidensia Tax function with a dedicated focus on tax reporting. The role offers broad exposure across corporate tax, combining hands-on responsibility for tax reporting and value-adding project work, also working closely with the Transfer Pricing Lead, and Corporation Tax Compliance team within a dynamic group environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in IFRS tax reporting and forecasting, work closely with finance teams and external auditors, alongside contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the tax function. We’re looking for a technically strong tax professional who can communicate clearly and effectively with both tax and non-tax stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Tax Reporting:
Primary responsibility for preparation of the Group reporting tax note for the consolidated Group reporting under IFRS. This will include the annual financial statements, interim tax accounting, and the monthly reporting to the board.
Specific Areas Of Note Will Include
ETR forecasting/reporting Cash taxes forecasting/reporting Forecasting/reporting of uncertain tax positions Working closely with Group Financial Reporting team and external auditors

Tax Compliance
Drafting of corporate tax technical notes Supporting with tax audits Working with the Transfer Pricing lead to deliver Pillar II reporting and compliance
Project Work
The Tax Function strives to identify opportunities to improve tax processes as well as supporting the wider business projects. As a result, this role will also include regular project work. This includes involvement and exposure to restructuring work, providing input into transfer pricing, corporation tax compliance, and other finance related initiatives, and development of new reporting frameworks as part of the introduction of tax reporting software (Oracle TRCS).
Experience/Qualifications
Qualified accountant or tax advisor. Several years’ post-qualification, with evidence of CPD. Experience could be gained in practice or industry (or combination). Proven track record in corporate tax, including a knowledge of cross-border tax issues. The ability to understand and explain technical issues. An understanding and ability to quantify, communicate and manage tax risk. Strong IT skills and experience with accounting reporting systems. Effective communicator; able to build strong relationships with colleagues in other countries and departments and with third party tax advisors. A desire to identify improvements and drive change; demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude. Strong time management skills; comfortable working on multiple projects concurrently. An ability to understand issues and identify potential solutions. Able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. A desire to grow with the role as the Group continues to grow.
